Vampiric guests of the latest Masquerade at Castle Beaufax. Hailing from all corners of Tharador, some are kindred that have known the Baroness since the days of Duskweave, others are strangers hoping to win the Baroness’ eye through the party and crowds. Regardless of how simple their backgrounds might be, all are deadly creatures of the night, able to easily dispatch even an armoured knight, should they cross them.

Across Tharador, various vampire covens exist in secret. Whilst some lurk in shadows, alleys and dens, others operate in plain sight, shrouding their dark identities with bribes, threats and glamour magicks. These guests who enjoy life’s luxuries parallel to their dark desires are the type to find themselves easily swayed by an invitation to the masquerades of Noctra de Blanc, travelling across the continent to attend. For whilst the masquerades offer delectable meals and delights, they also act as a hub for the socialites to expand their own networks and contacts, giving them places of refuge and retreat across Tharador, earning friends in places both high and low.

Many of the socialites at Castle Beaufax are residing in its guest quarters, remaining for anywhere between two weeks to a month as each night sees a new array of guests and meals. The ordeal is one of blood, lust and passion, and the vampires often see themselves fall into a state of delirium driven by bloodlust at its end. Still, whilst one might think these vampires relatively harmless, their claws are sharp enough to tear through a steel breastplate, and their teeth able to pierce through chainmail. Even prepared knights would fall in battle against such a creature, unprepared.
