A dragon whose fetid remains have boiled beneath the deserts of Sudd Tohst since time immemorial. Shingorion was among the many dragons to perish during the war between Mindoriel and Tharador. His own corpse fell into the ashen sands that would one day become Sudd Tohst, where until now, they have dwelt undisturbed. With Ridan’s rise from the sands, Shingorion has emerged with him, enthralled by the will of the ancient Colossal King, whose own will is bound by Myrothlir.

Having perished in the Sibling War, Shingorion’s corpse has rotted and boiled beneath the desert sands of Sudd Tohst since the Age of Creation. Forgotten by time and kept in no records, it was only Myrothlir himself who still could recall the resting place of the dead dragon, rousing it from its ancient slumber to serve as his thrall. The very earth shook as it broke free from a mountain of sand, serving Ridan the Everlasting.

Now the creature is held with bated breath before it is set against Myrothlir’s enemies, a plan slowly waiting to move into action. Already it has slain scores of soldiers sent by the Church of the Tharameni to investigate the apparent undead that have arisen in the area. As powerful as it is, however, its body has grown fragile from thousands of years of decay, and may still yet be defeated by the latest expedition.
