The towering spire that is visible miles away from its place in Hinatal, its spherical glass topper shining from dusk until dawn. It is in this temple that the Teardrop of Glanion is housed, a powerful artefact capable of temporarily harnessing the power of the sun, a tool of potentially endless destruction. Many have sought it for its power, and the enormous amount of Breath contained within it.

A central place of worship for Glanion within the city of Hinatal. Whilst smaller temples and shrines to the divine exist in local districts throughout the city, the Spire of Glanion is a literal shining beacon that rises above the sandy desert, its glass dome topper filling with sunlight from dusk until dawn. Larger ceremonies are held within this building, but in recent times it has also been used as a defensive weapon to stave off sieges and the evils of Mindoriel, with the Teardrop of Glanion held in the dome which focuses the sun’s raw power. Those who have tried to assault Hinatal in the past have been turned to little more than dust and echoes, their shadows burnt to the ground where they once stood, carried off in the sands.

Whilst it is considered a holy and divine place, entry to the spire is strictly controlled, with only a handful of clergy members through Hinatal having access to the spire, which still can only be opened with the approval of the council. Due to this, most regular worship of Glanion is conducted within the aforementioned smaller shrines and temples through the city, with the spire reserved for solstice and other grander astral occasions. Currently, it is the goal of the Serocan cult that has infiltrated Hinatal to gain entry to the Spire, and corrupt the Teardrop of Glanion that resides within, thereby leaving Hinatal exposed for another attack by Mindoriel’s Spawn.
