A Chimera caught from the grassy plains of Belfrie’s northeast. The Capricalion is a vicious breed of Chimera that is far more territorial than most of its kin. This particular one seems to be infected with some strange plague, making it an even deadlier foe. For while its strength and aggression remain the same, any who suffer its claws or fangs may find their death long after their battle. 

A creature local to the northeast of Belfrie. Solitary, deadly, extremely territorial. The Capricalion is a special breed of Chimera that prefers open spaces, unlike some of its kin which prefer the closed areas of forests or the dank underground of caves and dungeons. This particular Chimera, caught for the Crucible, is infected with some form of strange plague, resulting in an even deadlier foe for the poison that now sits in its teeth and claws.

Of the single combatant that has faced it thus far, they were pulled from the arena direly wounded. Over the course of days, their body took on the plague, undergoing a putrid metamorphosis that left the organisers no choice but to incinerate their body and never speak of it again. Despite their concerns, the Capricalion fight drew spectators in droves, and they feel compelled to send it out again, hoping that the next fighter may best it.
