Drow Sorceress Of The New Moon - Glynaria

A Priestess who has sided with Glydnos, believing him to be the true speaker of Glanbeli. She has challenged the authority of Kadna and the rest of the Temple of Glanbeli by creating the Order of the New Moon, which seeks to restore unity between the Irinaxi and Glanbelite Drow. This has caused much uproar within the Drow, and many question if Glynaria is simply misguided, or actively malicious.

Glynaria was a disciple of Kadna for many years. She had only just been officiated as a priestess when the stories of Glydnos began to circle Hirika. A Drow from the swamps who claims to be able to walk upon the surface of Glanbeli the great moon, and even converse with her spirit whilst there. To many, it was seen as heresy, sacrilege. Glynaria, however, felt that there was truth to his words. What the Temple of Glanbeli had been trying thus far to convert the Irinaxi Drow away from their dark divine was clearly not working. With Glydnos, perhaps his words rang true: unity was the path forward, not conversion. She risked everything to prop him up, and was thus excommunicated from the Temple. 

It was then that Glynaria founded her new order of Glanbeli: The Order of the New Moon. Some of the younger priestesses, acolytes and initiates followed her. Peers who also felt the old ways were not the way forward. Whilst some see this new order as misguided, others see it as fiercely heretical, and that agents of Irinax pull the strings behind the curtains. Within the new order, however, they truly do believe they are turning a new leaf, attempting to make amends with the Irinaxi rather than fight them to the bitter end.

Whilst the Irinaxi at first were hostile, and injured attempted contact by the New Moon, they have since become receptive. Skeptics consider this ploy to be yet another orchestration by the Irinaxi themselves to lower the guard of the Glanbelites. Proponents of the New Moon however, see it as progress, the kind that could only be made by younger minds and perspectives, with the young Glynaria at the helm of the fledgling temple.
