In the dangerous wastelands of the post-apocalypse, like-minded individuals often band together for survival, whether to form communities, or to raid and ravage said communities to take their stuff. These raiders have taken to venerating the many dangerous insects that roam the lands, going so far as to capture and tame them for use as beasts of war, and dressing in bug-themed outfits using insect chiten as armor and weapons. The most valued warriors get real chitin weapons and armor, while lesser scrubs often have to settle for cheap metal imitations. A few lucky leaders have scavenged technological weapons and armor that also happens to keep with the bug theme. Most of the SECT (like ‘insect’, get it?) are pure-strain humans, but a few mutants have been accepted into the ranks…usually those with bug-like mutations.
The InSECT Raiders favor fast hit-and-run raids, and often ride Centisteeds or giant Radroaches in their attacks.
This listing is for Pose 4 of the InSECT Raiders series: a highly regarded tribal badass, wearing heavy chitin armor and armed with two ‘Green Render’ claws! Also included are a ‘mounted’ version of the same character seated on a saddle which snaps right on to the Centisteed model (see above for where to get that), and an empty saddle you can put on the centisteed for when the character is not on it.
The Mutant Mayhem Minis line of figures was designed for Mutant Crawl Classics RPG, but also go great with DCC, Gamma World, D&D or any game that uses 28mm minis.
