Deep in the Florida Everglades, a doomsday cult worships the Dark Things, Elder deities with terrible appetites…

This good-ol’ boy has found a forbidden tome and somehow absorbed its knowledge to become a High Priest of one of these evil gods. He is chanting manically as his body mutates and channels the power of his master as he attempts to bring him into this world.

This guy was designed for a more modern, ‘urban magic’ type of setting, but could also fit well in a post-apocalypse setting or even D&D.

Dark-Platypus Studio specializes in making models for role-playing game enthusiasts. Our models are designed to be printed in 28mm Heroic scale, the perfect size for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other games that are often played on a 1” grid. They include Pre-supported versions and unsupported versions (in case you want to alter the size to suit your own needs). All Dark-Platypus Studios models are sculpted by sculptor Andrew K. Barlow (me), and no AI is ever involved. All models have been checked for errors and test-printed.

This model was sculpted for my wife Erica’s XCRAWL RPG adventure for 2025’s Origins and Gen Con conventions. If you attend, you may run into it –and his whole cult! Otherwise, he may be available in metal someday, but for now is only available here for 3D-Printing!
