A Tinker Tester is the newest addition to the Meat Garden harvests. Once disregarded as an unwanted result to the genetic process, it is only with recent rule changes that their usefulness has been discovered. In Title 104 of the INC Bout Regulations, Amendment B of Rule 17 now allows a fighter to enter the barge bout with 1 ranged firearm and 1 ammo clip, with a maximum of 3 rounds. This new amendment and the subsequent open use of fire arms is detested by all NEXUS purists making any fighter that uses firearms very controversial and unpopular.
Regardless, the Gnoems were quick to fulfill yet another need of the lanistas, who are always looking for an edge. Once research began Gnoems quickly realized they already had developed a specimen long ago classified as useless, mamluk that possess a high capacity for learning. Tinker Testers primarily engage in Research and Development (R n’ D) of new armor and weapons, these fighters have made themselves indispensable to any serious lanista.
