Eadric, the Cruel is the oldest son of King Laudric and Queen Morwyn. Once the spoiled and arrogant heir to the Rivencrag throne, now a monstrous reflection of his past vices. Petty, vindictive, and steeped in bitterness, he once reveled in life’s pleasures—gambling, drinking, and debauchery. When the throne was denied him through Morwyn's machinations, Eadric's cruelty only deepened. Banished under the guise of appointment, he now rules the Bloody Cellar, oppressing and torturing all who fall into his domain.
Despite his outward arrogance, Eadric's greatest enemy is himself. Beneath his vicious tyranny lies deep self-loathing, a painful knowledge that his downfall was of his own making. His self-destructive tendencies are manifested in his grotesque form, crowned with a mockery of the circlet he once coveted. He has fully embraced the dark arts taught to him by Drusilla, twisting the secrets of pain and pleasure into instruments of cruelty. In his dark domain, Eadric reigns as a sadistic lord, delighting in torment and bloodshed. His body, bloated and scarred, reflects the horrors he inflicts on others, and his every action is driven by rage, jealousy, and a twisted sense of entitlement.
