First 50 kits have a pleasant bonus - a miniature sample of Kipchaq stone sculpture Included with this first 50 models.
We are pleased to introduce to you a new kit: "Cuman horse archer, 13th century", scale - 75mm. The figure is a credible reconstruction of a rich nomad from the steppes of the Northern Black Sea and Azov regions who lived at the first third of the 13th century.
Himini tradition is to offer some variability during assembly. This kit is not an exception. You can choose between two helmets or assemble a figure without them. On the helmet from Kovali (Place of found), the vizor mask can be installed according to one of two basic versions: with opening upwards or turning sideways.
We especially note that this miniature shows not only the Cuman warrior himself, but also his horse. Contrary to popular belief, the horses of the steppe warriors were rather small. The absolute majority of the Cuman horses livestock had a height of 138-140 cm at the withers. This is confirmed both by data from Kipchaq (Cuman) burials and external signs of modern animals related to the ancient nomadic breeds. Although we assume and moreover we hope that this kit can greatly change the stereotypes of perception. That is one of the purposes project Himini was started.
First 50 kits have a pleasant bonus - a miniature sample of Kipchaq stone sculpture, such sculptures can be often found in steppes and museums))
