The Wightwood Abbey Defense Gantries can be printed as many times as necessary to add a stalwart, if somewhat ramshackle, defence to the abbey walls (or our Medieval Modular Walls). The gantries provide cover from enemy ranged attacks and pose a significant threat to an attacking force. Accessible by ladder (included as a separate print), the gantries are designed to comfortably support models with 1″ bases and several gantries can be placed side by side to create a continuous walkway, even around corners. The Wightwood Abbey Defence Gantries allow for the abbey walls to be properly defended. The Gantries are sized to match up perfectly with the walls that come with the Core Set or the Wightwood Abbey Modular walls so that they easily provide line of sight as well as cover to anyone defending them. The various odds and ends and household items the defenders have hung on the gantry walls give just that little bit of extra protection that can make the difference between life and an arrow in the throat. Multiple copies of the walls can be printed and placed side-by-side to provide a continuous line of defence, even around corners with the use of the corner piece. A ladder is included in this set and can be used to give a more realistic impression during play of how figures access the gantries from the ground.
