Description

Young woman performing an action song waiata poi. The poi was a ball made by stuffing raupo down into a covering of flax or raupo leaves and tied with a cord. The motions of the poi accompanied the song. She wears a cloak of parrot kaka, pigeon kereru, and kiwi feathers.
