15mm Cat Commanders-Power Armored Command Figures

NOTE: These are the 15mm/1-100th scale version of the CAT Commanders. 28mm/1-56th scale versions are sold separately.

The Cybernetic Automated Troopers, or CATS, are hulking combat cyborgs. However, despite their fearsome firepower, they require guidance and coordination. That is where the CAT Commander comes in to play.

Sometimes referred to in jest as the "CAT Daddy" or "Herder of CATs," the CAT Commander is (usually) a standard human wearing an older style of Hard-Ex powered armor which is enhanced with command and control modifications, including comm antennae and targeting sensors. A heavy grenade pistol is their standard sidearm.

A thigh-top battle computer helps them wrangle their powerful, semi-autonomous charges, the CATs, or Cybernetic Automated Troopers.

Thus, the CAT Commander is able to direct the fire and maneuver of the larger brutes, preventing the feared "cyborg-run-amuck" scenario which the oft-violated Colonial Accords attempted to prevent.

Nothing is perfect, though, and enemies have learned to target CAT Commanders, thus rendering their charges to slow targets. There are rumors of hacked CATs found in the darker corners of the worldgates, though, with heightened or restored thinking processes in command of their terrible weaponry, along with deep, murderous psychoses.
