Description

This set of modular hills for 8-32mm war-games gives you a ton of options to build hills for your gaming table: from small sizes to really big formations, the set has you covered.

Each section is made of 3 parts:

1. frame (15 different parts)

2. cliff (48 different parts)

3. top (47 different parts - textured and untextured)

The frames define the basic structure and size of the hill. There are frames for corners, inner corners, straight and central elements.

All frames can be magnetized with round magnets with 5mm diameter and 1mm thickness and connect to frames of the same width / lenght. All cliffs can be attached to the frames using the rails. The top comes last.

Cliffs come in 3 different angles: 1 (steep), 2 (normal) and 3 (stepped). Since the angles can be different for each side, even hills with the same basic structure don't have to look the same.

Tops can come in variants for the texture and also untextured in case you want to put other hills on top or if you want to flock them yourself (the untextured tops also print much faster).

In case you want to build just the quarter or half of a hill, you can use magnetizeable side elements to form a clean side.

All parts are optimized for FDM printing and made with a max. size of 200mmx200mm so all parts work fine on standard fdm buildplate sizes. While all parts work fine without supports, it is recommended to use paint on supports for the connector holes of some parts. More information can be found in the included spreadsheet.

A note for warmaster: I tested the hills with single bases for warmaster. Not every slope works for single bases and could be too steep. Minis can't be placed on steep rocky cliffs, most of the normal (2) and stepped (3) cliffs work okay when flocked, but i found using regiment bases, especially if they aren't completely flat on the bottom, helped a lot with placing the bases on the slopes.
