Secvernik Cossacks

You’re not drunk, and you’re not seeing double.

I’ve decided to include parts in the same pack so you can build two different types of troops: Cossacks with axes, and Cossacks with spears. And that’s because you’re about to meet a very special and versatile type of warrior within the Tzarev Empire: the Cossacks.

Originally, these warriors were formed from several nomadic tribes who chose to escape the rule of kings and emperors to found their own nation within the Tzarev Empire: Severnik, where they adopted the title of Cossacks — meaning free men.

This warrior tribe is skilled with all kinds of weapons, from the fearsome Rohatyna (bear-hunting spears) to the massive Berdysh axe, and of course one of their favorites: the bow.

I wanted to capture that versatility in these troops, and that’s why I decided to include several different types of miniatures within the same pack.

This way you can build your Cossack unit with Bardiches and bows, with spears, or mix everything together however you like.

The pack includes a good number of different bodies to help represent this variety.

And of course, the pack also includes a good selection of heads, a captain, a standard bearer, and something I had never included before: a whole set of weapon bits so you can place them on the miniatures however you like.

You can also use them on bases or scenery if you prefer.

All in all, a pack with plenty of customization and versatility, wouldn’t you say?
