Description

Heraclitus, Flame of Change is one of the many Anceint Greek Philosopher Heros, part of my series where I reimagine Greek Philosophers as Greek Heros.

Heraclitus of Ephesus 535–475 BCE famously associated fire with the ever-changing nature of reality, viewing it as a metaphor for transformation and flux. He considered fire to embody the constant process of becoming, continuously consuming and reshaping matter, much like how the universe itself is in perpetual motion. Through this symbolism, fire represents both destruction and creation, illustrating Heraclitus’s belief that change and transformation are fundamental to the cosmos.

That's why I've reimagined him as a heroric weilder of the flame of change, standing victoriously over a fallen insect gladiator (follow to see my insect characters drop). Stay tuned for more Greek Philosopher Heros and follow to see what comes next!

I've also been working on Greek and Roman Gladiator themed insects that I'll be posting soon so comment if you want to see that!
