An INDEX28 set by Micron Miniatures:
Peninsular War Dutch Brigade Infantry
Prior to the annexation of Holland by France in 1810, Dutch forces fought under the banner of the Kingdom of Holland. These miniatures represent one such detachment - those sent far away to do battle in Spain to secure power for Napoleon Bonaparte's brother Louis. These brave men faced the harsh and unforgiving terrain of the Pyrenees, the discipline and power of the British forces, and the horrors wrought by guerilla warfare.
Bring this seldom represented force to your Peninsular War tabletop in stunning style - this set is built to the popular INDEX28 standard, fully modularised and compatible with previous INDEX28 releases.
New in this release:
- Packs
Infantry packs are supplied as separate components allowing great variation among line infantry.
- Shakos
The Dutch Brigade posed an unique challenge to the INDEX28 methodology - with each head having nine variants for posture, how many STL's would we wind up with if we were to model each of the distinctive Dutch Shako which were numbered by company? The solution was to modularise the headwear - introducing for the first time the INDEX28 head system: each head variant is now supplied sans hat (bar 'tat?), allowing them to be mixed and matched with shakos and heads from other sets!
Scale:
This set of printable miniatures is supplied in 28mm (1:56) scale. Figures are 28mm to the eyeline and approximately 32mm to the top of the head. Horses, where supplied are scaled to approximate a height of 15-16 hands.
Notes:
Presupported parts are scheduled for this set, but are not yet included
