Description

Simosuchus clarki is an extinct crocodyliform reptile that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, around 68-66 million years ago.

Fossils of this unusual species were discovered in Madagascar.

Simosuchus clarki stood out due to its unique and bizarre skull morphology. It had an elongated snout with forward-facing eyes and numerous tiny teeth, suggesting a specialized diet.

This reptile had a short, stocky body and relatively short limbs.
