Description
Monolophosaurus jiangi was a carnivorous dinosaur that roamed the Earth during the Jurassic period, approximately 170 million years ago.
It was discovered in China and is characterized by its distinct single crest on its skull, from which its name is derived.
Belonging to the theropod group, it was estimated to be around 18 feet (5.5 meters) in length and likely walked on its two powerful hind limbs.
Monolophosaurus was equipped with sharp teeth and claws, indicating its predatory nature.
