Fedar Plagas, once a renowned scholar of the arcane, had delved into forbidden necromancy after the untimely death of his wife, Mirella. Her death had shattered him, and in his desperation, he sought to preserve her essence by crafting a weapon unlike any other. Using her remains in a dark ritual, he forged a scythe from her bones—its handle carved from her spine and its blade sharpened ribs that gleamed with an unholy light. The weapon pulsated with a life of its own, a piece of Mirella’s soul bound within, whispering faintly to Fedar as he wielded it. With every swing of the scythe, it drained the vitality of his enemies, feeding his insatiable hunger for vengeance against the gods he blamed for her demise.
As Fedar wandered the desolate lands, his name became a curse whispered among the living. The scythe, imbued with both his grief and her lingering spirit, turned the dead into his servants, an unrelenting army driven by his sorrow and rage. Yet, the whispers from the scythe grew louder with each battle, a mournful plea that pierced through his dark resolve. One fateful night, as he gazed upon the blade under a blood-red moon, Mirella’s voice broke through. “Release me,” it begged. For the first time in years, Fedar’s hands trembled. Torn between his undying love and the power that consumed him, he faced a harrowing truth: to free her would mean losing her forever, but to keep her bound was to remain a prisoner of his own torment.
