Dragon Hunters Cart Structure

This cart has a main body and a modular front and back, as well as two roofs options: one with a platform for the ballista (or any other use you may envision) or a straightforward roof. All of that surface is covered with dragon skin and scale: after all, the easiest way to protect again dragon breaths is to use their own skin - but you can paint and picture that to be basically any monster skin you like. The wood? That's iron wood, cured to be resistant to fire and acid - or something like that, you know, if you have that kind of player at the table!

I designed this cart to look, in a way, like a moving house partially because I liked the look and partially because it made the set usable in a totally different way. If you don't place the structure on the wheel racks (there are two options for those too!) you can use it as a large hut, and if you print more than one pieces of fronts and backs you can make several small buildings for some kind of wood and skin wilderness village. And when you want to use them as a cart you'd just need to put them on the wheels, and they'd work! If you like the look you can even print the hooks and chains to connect as many carts as you want to make a whole caravan. The ladders and doors needed to complete the whole thing are also in there. Finally, it is magnetized for easier use at the table and has channels for rods to help with assembly, but glue will be needed (more on that in the instructions.)

I love small more stand-alone sets like this, especially when combined with objects from other releases: I can picture it as a witch hut, as a small outpost of barbarians of the wilderness or as a magically moving small tavern (it is covered in dragon skin after all!). More to its intended theme: it could be used as a base for characters to go hunting monsters, or as a cart found abandoned in a random encounter on the road (what took all the hunters out?) or parked in a dragon hunters camp. What if they found a fertilized dragon egg? What if the characters are sent to steal it from them? Or steal it back for its wounded parents!
