MRAP (Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected) vehicles are a class of armored vehicles designed to withstand the threats of mines and ambushes. Used extensively in modern conflicts, MRAPs provide increased protection for personnel against improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and hostile attacks.
