Chasseurs are the mounted infantry arm of the Krevarian Dragoons - highly trained troopers riding sturdy Arvakar striders. These troops are most often fielded as auxiliaries to the Strider Corps, as their legged mounts can keep up with the heavier walkers over even the most broken terrain.
While lacking the Grav Engine of heavier walkers, the Arvakar striders have a similar advanced grey-box neural network to process terrain information and adapt to their riders’ control inputs. A well-trained strider can navigate well on its own in most situations, leaving the operator’s hands free when necessary. Experienced strider pilots swear that their mounts can anticipate their actions, and most operators will risk great danger to recover a downed mount’s core.
When introduced, standard doctrine preferred Chasseurs to operate as purely ranged skirmishers using their speed over difficult ground to attack the foe with carbine fire. However, several decisive engagements in which Chasseurs were forced to engage hard targets with close-range grenade and shaped-charge attacks gave rise to a variety of improvised weapons which have since been refined into the modern Chasseur lance.
While a seeming anachronism for the relatively modern Dragoons, Chasseur lances are now an integral part of the kit and strategy for mounted troops. The main core of the lance is retractable, allowing for easy replacement of the explosive lance heads. HEAT, HESH, and fragmentation lance heads are all commonly used by Chasseurs, depending on the target.

Updated 27 October 2025: Foot pedals were missing from Strider bodies. They're back now.
Updated 28 October 2025: Sensor block was accidentally integrated into the one-handlebar strider body. It's been removed.
This set of files contains everything you need to print Krevarian Chasseur cavalry with a variety of optional equipment.
Models are pictured on 60x35mm oval bases.
The kit includes a variety of rider and strider weapon and pose options. The front sensor/gun mount is modular and can be magnetized for quick option swapping - use 3mm diameter magnets.
Heads and arms from other Krevarian infantry can be used with the Chasseurs and vice-versa.
This kit is presupported, but also includes unsupported STLs for those who want to print in FDM or would prefer to handle their own supports.
