Alistar does not know much about his origins. Raised by adoptive parents, the only connection he has to his original family is a strange amulet. As a child he faced many difficulties due to his mixed heritage. Because of this he would develop a strong attitude and tend towards overconfidence in his own abilities as he felt he needed to prove himself to anyone who might judge him.
As a young man strange powers would begin to manifest, sparking a new interest in Alistar to set out on his own journey to discover the meaning of these gifts. Still young even for a half elf, he travels far beyond the city he was raised in all to search for answers on his own heritage.
