The Montañés was a ship of the line of the Spanish Navy, built in the Ferrol estuary. She was built following Romero Landa's system according to the San Ildefonsos series. The construction plans were modified by Retamosa to refine the hull shape. She was launched in May 1794, entered service in 1795 and took part in the Battle of Trafalgar.
