Alpine Shrine - 1/35 - Supported

A christian Virgin Mary shrine commonly found in the alpine regions of Germany, Austria and Italy suitable for dioramas from the 1900s onwards.

This model comes pre-supported and consists of three parts - the stand, the shrine itself and Virgin Mary statue which can be either painted in bright colors or light brown as many of these were carved out of wood and left unpainted. Dry brushing the wood is recommended to make the texture stand out.
