Intended for 3d print.

WW1 / WW2-era automatic rifle used by the Swedish army.

The Swedish Kulsprutegevär M/37, originally a design by Browning known as the Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR), was used in a Light Machine Gun role by the Swedish army during the late interwar years and then WW2.
Sweden had acquired BARs as early as 1921, and adopted them as the Kulsprutegevär M/21. Sweden altered the design by adding a pistol grip (which other manufacturers of the BAR would do as well later on), a bipod, and by rechambering the rifle for Swedish standard 6.5 mm calibre (also requiring the magazine to be changed to a slightly curved design).

The M/21 was then updated with a replaceable barrel to allow for sustained fire, and renamed the M/37 - which is the model included in this model pack.

The M/37 was the standard Swedish LMG during WW2, though other LMG models (the M/39 and M/40) were used to fill out gaps or save on costs during the period of rapid rearmament early in the war. The M/37 would remain the de facto standard LMG until replaced by the FN MAG in 1958

----------

This model pack includes six variants of the M/37. There is a version with the bipod and carry handle folded in, a version with the bipod folded out, and a version with both the bipod and carry handle folded out.

Additionally there are "28mm" versions of the above three. The 28mm versions are reinforced at certain parts of the models, to allow for printing at small tabletop miniature scale.
