This FSB team is kitted out for low profile counter terrorism work. Over their civilian clothes they wear a variety of body armour and load bearing kit.
Their weapons reflect their specialist roles. The point man carries an RSh-12 revolver, chambered in the massive 12.7x55mm cartridge, also equipped with stock and suppressor. This can be used as a breaching tool and has massive stopping power. He also carries a Ballistic Shield for protection against small arms.
Three members of the team carry ShAK-12 bullpup assault rifles. This is a highly specialised rifle designed at the request of the FSB where massive stopping power is needed at close range without the risk of over penetration.
Both of the RSh-12 and ShAK-12 are chambered in 12.7x55mm, utilising a mainly subsonic load and aluminium core to minimise the risks of collateral damage.
The two remaining operators are equipped with AMB-17 compact assault rifles, chambered for 9x39mm armour piercing ammunition and designed especially for close engagements. One of these operators also carries a GM94, which is also designed for fighting in urban environments and for room clearing. It can fire fragmentation, Thermobaric, smoke and tear gas rounds and has a minimum safe range of just 10 meters.
