This Russian SSO (Special Operations Forces) operator carries the RPK16 light machine gun, the support variant of the AK-12 and shares the same ammunition. The weapon is fitted with a drum magazine (holding 96 rounds) and standard SOF attachments of suppressor, red dot sight, tactical light and laser. He wears a mixture of equipment including the most modern Russian designed combat clothing, lightweight body armour and helmet. In his assault gear he carries a pistol, spare ammunition, grenades, comms and med kit.
