With this Set you will be able to print Simon de Montfort, the Earl of Leicester.
While we originally intended him to be used as Simon IV. de Montfort, 5th Earl of Leicester, it seems likely that you can use the sculpt also for the 6th.
The 5th fought in the 4th Crusade - the legendary Sack of Constantinople - and was known as the 'Blood Hound' of Phillip II Augustus of France in Persecuting the Cathar Uprising in the Albigensian Crusade. Being the Arch Nemesis of Raymond VI Duke the Toulouse ironically he lost his Life at that very same Battle of Toulouse in 1217.
The 6th Earl of Leicester, however, wasn't living in France anymore and had relocated to England, where he partook as one of the main actors of the Baron's Wars. While our sculpt has no surcoat, the dismounted version with the Beard is very reminescent of modern day depictions of the 6th. In addition he's also wearing a rather modern Great Helmet-Type.
The files are scaled to roughly 28mm and come pre-supported as .stl-files, as .lychee-files and of course as an unsupported version.
