The Aeolian islands of the Tyrrhenian Sea are the perfect hideout for the myriad of pirates that stalk the seas of Hellas. Typically attacking merchant ships, raider crews seek their fortune at any opportunity within their reach, and joining a warfleet is often a golden opportunity for easy loot.
Any fleet may hire the services of pirate ships as part of the percentage allowed for allies during the recruitment of the ships.
Pirate ships are very particular ships, decorated and enhanced with all kinds of threatening gadgets that make their captains' intentions very clear.
Designed by Dankai Miniatures, this set is optimised for UV resin printing and is supplied fully supported at 1/300 scale (6mm).
The Arpazon wargalley set includes the Arpazon core hull, two Aeolian Raiders crew stand easy tokens, a strip of selected 6mm crew miniatures to decorate the deck, three options for your ship’s sails (furled and two unfurled designs), and the Mastery Flag to indicate the game proficiency of the ship's crew designed to snap fit on the masts or to use neodymium disk magnets of 2mm diameter by 1mm height.
The set also contains a new railing to represent de aggressive nature of the raiders eager to engage the enemy in boarding actions. This railing is fully compatible with the triremes deck and perfect to represent the boarding battlements upgrade.
