Deep within a shadow-swallowed valley, a mad alchemist tricked a clan of ogres into submitting to unholy experiments, promising that they would become stronger than their enemies. Using vile chemicals and the blood of giants, he made them into unstoppable machines of destruction. In the process, he enslaved their minds, eliminating their resistance to commands and fear of pain, thinking to use them for some unknown vengeance against those who had wronged him. Unfortunately, he met an untimely demise, and the new breed of ogre broke loose, growing their numbers in that small valley, killing everything they came across, until a strong warlord arrived in the valley and took control of them for his own ends. Now they have come to dominate the battlefield, their mighty axes and swords capable of cutting through scores of enemies with each stroke. But the destruction of their minds came with a price, and these machines of death can be fooled by simple magics at times, susceptible to anything that overwhelms their basic thoughts of servitude and battle.
