The Fist of the Quiet | Choir Shock-Troops
The Hollow Maulers are the Necrospawn’s frontline
abominations, forged from failed converts whose bodies
refused to die quietly. Instead of mercy, they were given
purpose, fused into armored frames and bound to weapons of
their own flesh. Their arms are replaced by Grasp-Clubs,
grotesque instruments of bone and soulsteel shaped like
skeletal hands that clutch and crush with unholy strength.
They are bred for impact and endurance, crashing through
barricades and dragging foes screaming into the Choir’s reach.
Unlike Graveblades or Reapers, Maulers lack higher thought or
ritual discipline. Their devotion is physical: a wordless,
ceaseless march toward silence.
Each strike is accompanied by a pulse of necrotic pressure
that splits bone and severs will. Even as they fall, the Maulers
continue to fight, standing upright in death, their bodies
animated by the last echo of the Gloom’s blessing.
To the Necrospawn, they are not soldiers but tools of
correction. To their enemies, they are the last sound before the
Quiet.
