Beneath his boot lies the severed, horned head of a Daemon - a monstrosity the size of the Commissar himself. Once a terror on the battlefield. Now a pedestal. Now a footnote in someone else's promotion record.

COMMISSAR DAEMONBANE is no mere officer. He is the embodiment of Imperial resolve, of regulation justice, of the bullet fired without warning and without appeal. His face is a gas mask in the grim liturgical aesthetic of the Korps - trench-born, ash-cured, built to outlast the men wearing it. The left hand delivers precise, methodical fire. The right raises the regimental banner, still wet with whatever screamed last.

Across his chest shines a pantheon of medals - each one a fallen enemy, transmuted into honor, pinned over the heart like a ledger of kills kept in iron and ribbon. At his side hangs a regulation saber, sharpened for those who hesitate to obey. By just a few centimeters.

Where he walks, the line holds. Where the line does not hold, the survivors are very carefully counted, and the shortfall is corrected from the back.
