Joseon In Dujeong-Gap Armor

One of the innovations in defensive wear by the Joseon army was the introduction of the Dujeong-gap armor, a form of brigandine coat consisting of plates held firm between layers of fabric with rivets. This set portrays soldiers wearing such armor, and wielding traditional Korean weaponry such as the Hwando sword and Woldo polearm. They bear shields with a tiger design, which we have chosen to sculpt as raised detail to aid painting.

There are two body types, one with waist armor pieces and one without. The arms are meant to be interchangeable between these two body types.
