The majority of Mongol Military power was concentrated in its Cavalry. Each rider would maintain 3 or 4 horses, and all would be proficient in multiple weapon types, though the composite bow was favored.
Most of a mongol host would be lightly armored horse archers. A portion, along with the kheshig guard of the Khan, would be heavily armored, as well as having their horses armored similarly.
Armor would be lamellar or laminar construction, both of which we have included in terms of horse armor. All riders have lamellar armor, helmets, and there are head choices for stylized full face masks.
