A huge sized aquatic apex predator anthropod mounted on a 3 inch coral reef diorama
A behemoth among its meager lineage, the goliarch prawn prowls the deep using its feeder limbs to grasp and pull anything it can into its needle-fine maw. Often found drifting along the surface listlessly as it preserves energy, only once until its abyssal black eyes spot a glimmer of life in those darkened depths does it explodes into ferocious motion. Dozens of paddle-shaped limbs churn the water and sand as it barges into coral and stone alike to latch its many bladed maxillipeds into prey’s flesh to feast.
