Hailing from Baldur, Crow Eyes is a figure who seldom speaks of his past. None in the crucible know his true name, and only address him by his stage name. Even now, his true name slips from his own mind at times, needing to remind himself of it. Whilst Crow Eyes keeps to himself, his corvid companion, Arvine, remains his sole friend in the arena. People often remark that the only person they see him say more than two words to is the crow on his shoulder.
A gunslinger without sight, who claims his eyes come from his corvid companion, some doubt his claims, few have witnessed that without Arvine at his side, Crow Eyes indeed is sightless. Though owing to his unique sense of vision, Crow Eyes is able to take shots and attack at angles most would never consider, imbuing his bullets with the ability to curve around objects and travel complex paths, steering through his own will.
Many underestimate Crow Eyes because of his blindness, but find themselves dead before they know it for doing so. Because firearms are seldom seen in Belfrie, most are unaware of their raw destructive power, and their ability to completely tear through armour and cover with such ferocity. Even in the hands of one who did not imbue their bullets with Minera’s Breath, they would be poorly matched.
Such magics are forbidden in Baldur, where Crow Eyes claims to hail from. Anyone can figure he left for such reasons, likely with a death warrant signed against him by the Inquisition. He seldom talks about such a past though, only confirming its existence should anyone ask about his Baldurian Heartlander accent. For him, the past is the one thing he chooses not to see. What lies ahead though, is also invisible. For now, the present is all he has, a life lived battle after battle, waiting for fate to take its turn.
