T-34-85 Soviet Medium Tank - 1/72 Scale

Model Description:
This download contains a highly detailed model of a T-34-85 medium tank. Documentation and references for the real vehicle were rigorously studied to make the model as geometrically accurate as possible, except in the cases where printability would have to be sacrificed (such as the fender thickness).
 
Historical Description:
The T-34 was an iconic medium tank used throughout World War 2. The vehicle saw constant upgrades throughout the war, with armaments ranging from the low velocity L-11 cannon on the original 1940 variants, to the much more powerful ordinance used on the T-34-85's towards the end of the war. This model represents the T-34-85 model of the T-34, mounting the new, larger turret, as well as the 85mm cannon.
 
The T-34 was the workhorse of the Soviet Armored divisions, with over 80,000 being produced between the variants, 45,000 of those being 85mm equipped vehicles. The vehicle saw production between multiple nations between 1940 and 1958. The T-34-85 represents the final upgrade to see widespread service during WW2.

In Armored Advance:
In armored advance the T-34-85 is a medium battle tank featuring armament more fitting of a heavy tank, playing a similar tactical role to late Panzer IVs and 75mm equipped Sherman tanks, but with a bigger punch from the 85mm. While the T-34-85 features armor that was adequate for cheaper T-34 units, the price premium from the armament upgrade does make the armor more lackluster for the point cost. Other, slower vehicles with similar armaments exist for similar costs which beat the T-34-85 on armor quite easily.
