This set includes 10 Hussite pavises.

To protect their missile troops, the Hussites used large shields called pavises. These stood nearly as tall as a man and were made of wood, strengthened by a central ridge and covered with leather or canvas. They were planted in the ground with a spike or supported by a prop, giving crossbowmen and handgunners cover while they reloaded. Pavises were often decorated with the Hussite chalice symbol or other religious imagery, serving as both protection and a sign of faith.
