A regular bat which once exposed to Eldraeth, grew in gargantuan proportions over the coming weeks. Now it towers four men tall, and is a completely feral monstrosity with teeth that could rip a man’s leg clean off without effort. It has become the charge of Zarinda to watch over the beast, with her able to quell its fury and direct it towards their enemies.
A regular Giant Bat captured by Vaezirak’s worshippers. Zarinda herself tested a concentrated solution of Eldraeth upon the beast, to test how Tharador’s natural fauna might react to the fungus. The bat, which she later dubbed Sonari, defied her expectations, having expected to watch its body break down in moments, it instead became bolstered. Over the next few weeks its muscular and skeletal systems flourished as they underwent rapid growth, bolstering its size three-fold. Its anger and ferocity matched its new form, in a nigh rabid state.
Seeing the potential of this weapon, Zarinda took it upon herself to become its handler. In its first tests, she watched the creature bisect an armour clad warrior with a single bite. Other followers of Vaezirak thus fear this beast, and its handler, though they do their best to veil their fear in its presence.
