A tribal Sun Elf who has lived in the wilderness of Idinhelieth’s Sands for centuries. He knows the shifting terrain like an old friend, able to easily navigate the desert even when the terrain becomes completely changed overnight. As a nomadic Elf, he knows the lore and land surrounding Hinatal better than any who have lived beneath the sands for centuries, and those like him are invaluable to the Hinatali as they navigate this precarious new world.

Among the nomadic Sun Elves, there are many of their expert pathfinders and trackers who offer their expert skills for a modest price. Sactarin is one such tracker, though his charge is steeper than most common folk can afford, owing to his allegedly unrivalled ability to navigate the dunes, and handle even the direst encounters in a calm and collected manner. Whilst Hinatal was buried beneath the sand, Sactarin spent over a century learning it, the lore of the land, the habits of the creatures that stalked it and how to best deal with each of them.

Due to this, when Hinatal sought trackers and pathfinders from the nomadic tribes, Sactarin’s name was one put forth by many. He quickly proved his worth, guiding ambassadors of Hinatal to nearby cities to begin establishing embassies and foreign relations for the city-state after centuries of absence. In all those potentially perilous journeys, none of his charges saw harm, the same of which could not be said for those at the mercy of his competitors. For his flawless service, he has earned a permanent retainer from Hinatali’s Elite, and is often posted for missions befitting his skills, though requiring secrecy more often than not.

His current task sees him tracking the legendary and monstrous Algaira, a dune-prowling Hydra that only shows its heads to its prey. Currently he does not have the man power to do it himself, yet with enough aid, he should be able to find and slay the beast, bringing its heads back to Hinatal for the awaited reward from his employers.
