Description
Mechaniak is the heart, the roar, and the stinking smoke of the Iron Horde, because without the mechanics there would be no Horde at all, and any proper lad with a rusty axe will tell you the same. These crazy gitz are the ones who know what needs bolting where, where to smack something with a wrench to make it work again, where to recharge a gun so it shoots even louder, and what to nail on top so the whole pile of scrap does not fall apart in the middle of a fight. To normal folk their workshops look like a junkyard after a reactor explosion, but to orks they are sacred temples of speed, fire, and proper noise.

A true Mechaniak is a creator with a capital letter, even if he never really knows what he is building in the first place. Understanding is not important, making it loud, flashy, and full of flying sparks is what matters. If a machine smokes, screams, shakes violently, and still manages to drive or shoot, then everything is working perfectly. Among the Iron Horde, mechanics are treated with almost sacred respect, because they are the ones turning scrap into bikes, tanks, saws, rockets, and all kinds of glorious ork engineering miracles. And the crazier the idea inside a Mechaniak’s head, the higher the chance the whole Horde will soon charge into battle with a new weapon that will either destroy the enemy or explode so spectacularly that everyone will still have a great time.
