Pdc Gendarmer Division

Feared, respected, and never ignored, the Gendarmer Corps serve a purpose very different from that of standard frontline regiments. Their primary duty is not to destroy the enemy, but to maintain discipline, order, and loyalty within the ranks of their own army. Officially, they function as administrative officers and military police.
Unofficially, they are the silent threat that keeps entire battalions in line.

Gendarmers are frequently attached to other regiments, embedded within squads or stationed just behind advancing lines. Their presence alone stiffens discipline, prevents desertion, and preserves morale when exhaustion, fear, or doubt begin to take hold. Officers rely on them to enforce regulations, investigate misconduct, and handle “issues” that regular command structures cannot, or do not dare to address.

Every army has rules.
The Gendarmer Corps ensures those rules are obeyed.
