With immense territory and relatively few soldiers to defend it, Dragoon tactics often involve the use of field emplacements to create a safe zone to sally forth from or as an anvil to trap opposing forces against. The vast majority of these fortifications are static bunkers and gun pits mounting a variety of defensive weapons.
Gun Pits are scattered around the perimeter of any permanent settlement, arranged to let the guns they hold provide defensive artillery fire along any likely angles of approach. While some richer settlements utilize pits with armored shutters to protect the guns against the elements and return fire, many simply make do with simple camouflaged tarps and open tops and are unoccupied until conflict is imminent.
Gun Bunkers form the majority of permanent emplacements in use. The most common model is a relatively small structure meant to house a single heavy weapon or direct-fire field gun. Placed to utilize terrain to their advantage, several bunkers in conjunction can create a deadly kill zone for any approaching enemy.

The Gun Pit can hold bases up to 160mm, or you can place artillery pieces in directly.
The Enclosed Gun Bunker has a weapon mount capable of holding any heavy or pintle weapon in my current range (many of which are included in this kit), or any weapon using the 'field gun' mount - also shared with Jotun and Onager weapons.
The shape of the bunkers is designed to allow their use with the barricades from my ‘Krevarian Checkpoint’ set. You should be able to create a reasonable fortification network by combining the two sets.
This kit is presupported, but also includes unsupported STLs for those who want to print in FDM or would prefer to handle their own supports.
Big thanks to Jason Lawrence for helping out with the interior painting.
