A 1920s boatswain posed calling instructions through a conical speaking trumpet. He wears a short weather jacket, sailor’s cap, loose trousers and heavy boots, standing firmly with a slight forward lean. His sideways gaze suits scenes where he is directing a ship’s crew, dock workers or mooring operations. Designed for reliable printing, the speaking trumpet connects with the face, hand and torso for added support. The second arm remains close to the body, while the compact stance avoids thin ropes and extended fingers. Supplied in 1:43 scale with a pre-supported version, this figure is suited to harbour dioramas, dockside model railways and interwar maritime scenes.
