Blade Adventurers

Adventurers are the life blood of the City-States. Unlike Mercenaries, these Freeblades do not sell their services to any buyer. Rather they form tight knit companies with Freesail Swashbucklers and often outright own their own ships that serve as home and hearth as well as the main way they generate coin. Sailing to distant shores they weigh anchor and raid the golden cities of the new world fighting scaled beastmen and giant cerapods before returning to sell their trophies and ill gotten gains.

Some may call it piracy but its an Adventurers life for me!
