Despite their best attempts to stop the aethertech device the death cult had activated, the device fired a beam of energy into the cosmos. As the beam reached the stars, it bounced between them as if tracing out a constellation before it vanished into the dark.
There was a lull in the combat as the party and death cult stared into the night sky. The moment seemed to drag on for an eternity until a beam of light came from the night sky and enveloped the aethertech device on the raised platform.
Once the light dissipated, everyone could see the aethertech device crushed and a pale white-haired woman crouched in its place.
Slowly, she stood up and her eyes glowed red as she looked over the room. The leader of the death cult approached and before he could say anything - beams of light projected from her eyes as arcane runes filled the air around her. The beams of light scanned over the cultist and words began to coalesce around her.

The cultist panics and runs up to her, driving the dagger into her chest. As he pulls the bloodless dagger back, the light fades from her eyes and she collapses to the ground.
Quickly the party ready themselves for the brawl to continue with the death cult as the leader faced the party. However, everyone watched in horror as the woman stood back up as a voxels formed a dagger in her hand. She drove the dagger into the back of the cultist, lifting him up into the air.
As the body of the cult leader hit the ground, words formed beside her head.

Finally, the tension in the room broke and the brawl resumed, except the death cult now focused on the strange woman summoned by the aethertech device.
She continued to kill the cultists one by one, after numerous kills the number beside her head would change.

The party attempted to take down EVE, as the cult was just making her stronger. The cleric fired a guiding bolt at her, illuminating her in radiant light. Moments later, she scanned the cleric and more words appeared.
