The Heart of Valens
In the depths of Itheria, the ancient remains of a titan were discovered.
What remained of titan had needed to be excavated from the stone deep underground. The cavern floor was littered with remains of creatures of all types - even dragons and giants. They quickly realized the cavern they had found was lined with bones, ribs to be exact. As they explored further they found pools of black tar-like liquid that slowly shifted when torchlight illuminated it. Then, they saw what remained of its flesh.
The undying flesh of the titan glistened and slowly writhed despite the heart had gone still ages ago. The flesh seemed to bind to the ancient bones that littered the cavern floor, but it lacked the power to do anything in this state.
This gave Lady Ysabelle an insidious idea on how to deal with those that threatened her rule.

Years later, the Crimson Rebel Legion attempted to strike down the Silver Spires across Itheria. Thane and his forces were unprepared for the monster Valens had prepared for them.
As the rebels began to raze the capital with siege engines and flying ships. What remained of the forgotten titan was unleashed upon them. A towering mass of flesh bound to the heart of the titan. Bones of giants formed limbs and heads around the heart, creating some semblance of a humanoid form. Massive claws of bone that could tear siege engines asunder with ease.
The flesh golem was also resilient as the siege weapons turned to it - impaling it couldn't even stop the looming horror as it laid waste to the rebel forces.
The rebels knew that the vampires would do anything to hold onto power. They were not prepared to face The Heart of Valens.
