The Persians brought with them countless allies and mercenaries to support their attack on Hellas. Many of them from distant lands whose names are not yet found in mythical tales. When the invasion attempt finally failed, many of these vessels and their crews decided to settle in the Aeolian Islands, where no one asked about their origins or their allegiance.
Many of these foreign ships show extravagant designs to the eyes of the Hellenic peoples, in particular those light and swift vessels with no oars that seem to dance with the sea instead of negotiating its waters. This is the case of the one known as Aeráki, so far, the only war ship without oars.
Designed by Dankai Miniatures, this set is optimised for UV resin printing and is supplied fully supported at 1/300 scale (6mm).
The Aeráki wargalley set includes the ship’s core hull with a detachable aftcastle, two Aeolian Raiders crew stand easy tokens, a strip of selected 6mm crew miniatures to decorate the deck, and a set of the ship’s most exotic sail. Due to its particular design, this ship shares the special Mastery Flag we designed for the Siege Barge to indicate the game proficiency of the ship's crew.
